About

Why Count the Cost?

Count the Cost is a ministry-based business with a sole purpose of emotional, social, spiritual support and education. Whether it's for teens or seniors, our services benefit the heart and mind of each individual.

"Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me."
Matthew 16:24 (NIV)

We believe that a relationship with Christ is foundational for wholeness. The gospel story extends hope to every pain and struggle. Out of our gratefulness for this everlasting hope, we can count the cost of discipleship just as Christ sacrificed himself on our behalf.

our story

Meet the Founder

Joseph Regan studied at Corban University, where he attained a BA in Clinical Psychology. After working as a substance abuse counselor upon graduation, he came to realize his enthusiasm for leading groups as both an educator and facilitator.

Even more evident was his love for studying God's word, which led him to complete an MA in Divinity Pastoral Counseling through Liberty University. Ultimately, he felt compelled to combine his passion for teaching with theology to create Count the Cost. His hope is to shed light on the mysteries and difficulties of psychological topics through scriptural truths.
